An SSL/TLS certificate enables encrypted HTTPS connections between a visitor’s browser and your website. Many browsers show a lock or site information icon when a secure connection is established.
1. Open your website using https:// followed by your domain.
2. Check whether the browser reports a certificate or connection warning.
3. If HTTPS does not work, confirm that a certificate has been issued and installed for the correct domain and any required subdomains.
4. Check that the website and its internal links use HTTPS where appropriate. Mixed content (some resources loaded over HTTP) can still trigger browser warnings.
5. If you have just changed DNS or installed a certificate, allow time for the changes to take effect and retest.
SSL certificate availability and automatic installation depend on the server configuration and hosting plan. Do not assume a certificate is active until you verify it in cPanel or by testing the website. If a warning remains, submit a support ticket with the domain and exact browser error.
