If your website is unavailable, several different issues may be responsible. Follow these checks before contacting support.
1. Check the domain. Confirm that it is registered, has not expired, and points to the correct nameservers or DNS records.
2. Consider recent DNS changes. Nameserver changes may take time to become visible across networks.
3. Check the hosting service status in your AJCHost client area and review any notices.
4. If you recently uploaded or changed files, confirm that they are in the correct document root and that the main entry file exists.
5. Record the exact error shown by the browser, such as a DNS error, certificate warning, or application error. Different errors can have different causes.
6. If the site uses a database or content management system, check whether you recently changed its configuration, password, plugins, or themes. Avoid making random changes to live files.
If the site remains unavailable, submit a support ticket with your domain, the time the problem began, the exact error, and any recent changes. Include a screenshot if useful. Never include your password.
