Registering a domain creates a new domain registration. Transferring a domain moves its registrar management from one registrar to another. Connecting a domain to hosting is a separate process and does not always require a transfer.
To register a domain:
1. Visit https://ajchost.com and open the domain search or registration page.
2. Search for the domain name you want.
3. Check the availability and displayed price for the domain extension.
4. Select the domain, follow the checkout instructions, and submit the required registration details.
5. Complete payment and any verification requested by the registrar.
To transfer an existing domain:
1. Confirm that the domain is eligible for transfer and is not blocked by a registrar lock or other restriction.
2. Make sure you can access the registrant email address.
3. Obtain the transfer authorization code (often called an EPP or Auth code) if required.
4. Start the transfer through the available AJCHost domain transfer process and follow the displayed instructions.
Transfer requirements, fees, and timing vary by domain extension. Keep control of your current registrar account until the transfer is complete. Contact support if the checkout page does not offer the extension or transfer option you need.
