WordPress is a content management system that lets you build and manage a website. The installation method available depends on the tools enabled in your hosting account.
1. Sign in to your AJCHost client area and open cPanel.
2. Look for a WordPress installer or application installer, if included with your account.
3. Select the domain on which WordPress should be installed. If you want it to open at the main domain, ensure the installation directory is configured correctly and does not add an unwanted subfolder.
4. Enter the requested website title and administrator details. Use a unique administrator username and a strong password.
5. Run the installation and wait for the success message.
6. Use the admin URL provided by the installer to sign in. The WordPress dashboard is commonly available at /wp-admin.
After installation, keep WordPress, themes, and plugins updated. Install plugins and themes only from sources you trust. If there is no installer in cPanel, contact AJCHost support to ask which installation options are available for your plan.
